Student politics by students for students
ProStudis is an independent student political group at the RPTU Landau campus. Our mission is clear: The interests of students are at the heart of our work. We aim to shape higher education policy in an objective, pragmatic, and open manner, without any ties to political parties and without committing to a specific political ideology.
For us, this also includes treating other student groups, positions, and opinions with respect. Higher education policy thrives on the exchange of different perspectives. We don’t always have to agree to be able to work together constructively. What matters most to us is taking arguments seriously, facilitating compromise, and seeking common solutions where they benefit students.
In terms of substance, we advocate for fair academic conditions, greater transparency, and strong student representation. Issues surrounding attendance policies, cafeteria prices and hours, mobility, and financial relief for students directly impact everyday student life and therefore belong, in our view, in the Student Council (StuPa).
At the same time, we want to raise awareness of the services, benefits, and support options available to students. Higher education policy should not only identify problems but also initiate concrete improvements and make information accessible.
Ultimately, we are pursuing a common goal: the well-being of all students on the RPTU Landau campus. Diverse opinions and political approaches are part of a vibrant higher education policy. What matters to us is that decisions are transparent, fair, and made in the interest of the entire student body.
