Who are we?
We are the Linke Liste, your point of contact for left-wing university politics at the University of Landau. Founded by students from all departments in 2021, we have set ourselves the goal of making left-wing issues more prominent in everyday university life. To this end, we are naturally standing for election to the student parliament. In our first election in December 2021, we were able to garner 27.5% of all votes cast. But in addition to our work in parliament, we also want to make an impact on campus and in the city of Landau. We organize lectures and events on our topics, participate in demonstrations together, or simply get together for a beer in our “Trinken mit Linken” format.
What do we stand for?
As the Left List, we want to shape progressive politics at our university. For us, anti-fascism, feminism, socialism, radical climate protection, social justice, and a clear stance against conspiracy ideologues and reactionary forces are fundamental and insurmountable components of our basic political convictions. We want to fight. Fight for better study conditions, more culture, more student participation, and less academic exclusivity at universities: A good life for everyone!
